Preferably someone who isn't committed to another horse, who has knowledge and obviously can ride him when needed.
Person obviously needs to get on with me, as i'll be asking them to help me work through problem areas i.e. getting him off the forehand. I have a minor back injury that needs time to heel, and I don't want my horse thinking he can get away with things in the meantime, and whilst i'm not at my best, I don't want him pushing the boundaries.
His weight is a bit of an issue, hence why I have to keep him in work. I have a sharer, but she can only do a couple of days a week.

No, I have one, my horse just needs more work, and I feel whilst i'm weak on my left side, he's just going to take the pee and we'll end up getting no where. He's already hard work to start with being part Shire, and my lesson always seem to end up getting him off the forehand.
He's put some weight on recently and that isn't helping either. I'm waiting on a green guard muzzle which should be arriving any day now (hopefully) to help with that issue, but he needs to start toning up (I want to do some dressage), hacking alone can't do that. I've had glimpses of the horse he can be, makes it frustrating that he's such hard work to keep him there.
He's a 12 years old, 15hh Cob x Shire.

Well that depends on how good the rider is, and whether the two gel. I've never had to do this before, and don't even know where to start. Person must be able to work with the methods my instructor uses, as it's how my lad is being taught.
