I've been looking for a jumping saddle since Christmas and am really struggling

I brought a Fieldhouse dressage saddle in November which really fits my horse lovely but every jumping one we have tried so far fits terribly

Ive been looking for a fieldhouse as my dressage one is so nice and have found a GFS Pro Jump model at a good price, but I'm really confused, I don't do huge amounts of cross country at the moment but am hoping this year to take my horse to a couple of one-day events and make a start with her, so would I be better of getting the Pro-jump or Pro-event saddle? Please can somebody explain the main difference between them both and which would be better for mainly showjumping but occasional eventing as well? Any help will be appreciated

I used to do both in my pro-event saddle !! thats about the most help i can give you

the pro-event will be more of a GP cut saddle i think, the 'event' in the name suggests they are aiming it for use in all 3 phases.. if you already have a dressage saddle go for the pro jump one.!
i have just googled the pro-event and all descriptions point to it being a general purpose type saddle..
hope that helps

Thank you!!! Thats a great help, there's just so many to try, but at least I know that they generally fit Serena nicely and (lots of wishful thinking here), I might be able to stick on a bit better!

I've got a new prestige jumping saddle being orderd at the moment! I have also had a pessoa saddle which was really comfortable but my pony is really wide and it is hard to find a saddle that fits him! so it didn't fit him very well. Hopefully this new Prestige saddle will fit him better!! x

Yeah thats the general idea, event saddles I would say are more of a GP cut with a bias towards SJ ie Very Slightly Showjumping and the Jumping saddles are more forward cut. I think if you have a dressage saddle then go for the jump.
