Gaaaaah! Seem to be having the worst day EVER!:( (Its not helped by this pulsating headache I have, when every time I move I feel like someones taken a swing with a bat to either side of my face!)

Too many reasons as to why and nobody to unload it all onto, therefor I think we need a 'rant and rave' thread so we can all come on here and unleash the burden:D

Anyone want to start us all off?:rolleyes:

Im sure someones having a worst day than I am:p

My list so far is:

Worlds worst headache:mad:.
Mahoosive arguement with the OH - Although this is sorting itself out:rolleyes:.
Forgot my sandwich to take to work:(.
Came into work after Friday off to find the entire office has dumped all their work on my desk:(.
Realised it was a Monday and I have another 4 days to go until the weekend when I get my next horsey fix (I dont have my own yet so i am helping a HH member with exercising hers at the weekends):D.

So just generally having a bit of an off day. Tuesdays got to be better right?:p

*closes eyes to make a wish*
 
Awwww - what a horrid Monday! Nothing I can do to help but sending cyber <<<<hugs>>> and reminding you that tomorrow is another day! :)
 
i was late to work on the first day. I got the bus full of schoolkids. One decided to drip his ice pole all down my leg. From 11.30 - 4pm I shredded 23 bin bags of paper. Then Then I looked through 164 sheets of paper to find 6. I then had to go through the stack again and put stickers on.
Then my bus drove past me on the way home. :(

I can make you feel even better by telling you my task tomorrow is to match all 164 pieces of paper with the students register details.
Helpfully both sets of papers are not in alphabetical order.

Karran. That sounds rubbish! Literally.

My rant is against commuting! I hate the cost and the time and both conspire to prevent me ever getting a horse!!!! Grrrrr.
 
Ordered new top yesterday, it arrives, am happy at quick service....
Try said top on on return home for work, bloomin thing doesn't fit, drive to store to return and have refunded back to card only to be advised as I bought it only yesterday its not yet on their system?! And they can't process and to come back tomorrow :@

Well I'm going to anyway as I've been waiting for a post like this for like forever!! Haha

For today...
I failed one of my uni exams in great fashion - 26%! :'(

I've pretty much broken up with my bf - long time coming.

And I woke up with my mum and dad having a massive row, busting into my room and dropping straight into the middle of the argument.

Along with my general anguish over having no where to school and not being allowed to put her in livery although im old enough (24) to make my own decisions and will be using my own money to pay for it! (There is tons more I can add to this rant but I would be here forever!!)

Oh gosh Diluteherd, my moan seems trivial now :o.

I locked horns with YM on Thursday because he'd been discussing the pone with DD (who's not yet 18) rather than me and then I ended up looking like a right idiot when I didn't know what was going on because airhead DD had forgotten to tell me :mad:.

Gets to yard tonight after managing to avoid him all w/e and YM still got a snit on him because he knows he was wrong but won't bleddy admit it (that's all I want :D) and yet he'd thought it OK to play mix and match with my two bridles to make one that would fit his mountain of a horse. :mad: Normally I don't mind him doing that, but tonight it tee'd me off because he was still being an @rse.
 
Well, in general my day wasn't too bad - but I am just about fed up with people in supposed authority who DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!! :p

Just makes the rest of us look bad :(
 
Well tonight i walked down to the field to find one of the other liveries mares being mounted through the fence by a bloody colt, cue me going to break it up and getting 'squirted' on and i barely missed a fly buck so great for me
 
Walked across the local common to the horses today to enjoy the lovely weather, on the way back walked past a group of horses that are turned out on there, a few wearing rugs some with necks which was annoying me enough in this warm weather...

Then I came upon what appeared to be a sec B, in 2 rugs! Yes 2 rugs, an under rug with some fill and something like a medium weight on top, and it was sunny and 20 degrees, I was warm in a vest top.

I put my hand under its rug and it was dripping, was tempted to whip the rugs off and dump them in the hedge... Decided I don't know the whole situation so I didn't, but looking back now I'm thinking I should of. Poor thing.
 
Mine is a trivial rant, but am bloody fed up of the flippin' bird scarer that is 50m from my field and gives me a heart attack every time it goes off!

Yes, I know the farmer needs to protect the cows feed etc, but it's loud and the horses spook every time it goes off. Nearly ended up with 1/2 ton of TB sitting on my head yesterday when the darn thing went off while I was doing her feet!

And breathe
 
Oh don't get me started, at the start of the month my OH lost his wallet with half the house rent in, then Friday he got into work to be told he was getting laid off along with some others so now jobless, then today my car got clamped £150 later I managed to have it removed, but had to borrow money of my OH's nan as I didn't have the money :mad:

Arrived at the yard. No phone. I know I had it when I left home. Worried all day at work then remembered Find my iPhone which showed it half mile down the road. Must have driven off with it on the roof or bumper! Went off with OH who found it on the verge. Looked ok until he turned it over. Screen completely trashed. That'll cost a bit - but how do I manage without it until its fixed?
 
Thought my horse was a bit stiff after his busy weekend, massaged him this morning. Went to lunge him this afternoon and he is lame. So it's been cold hose, clay, bandage and box rest. I am feeling VERY sad. He's never been lame before. He appears to have tweaked a tendon, farrier gave advice over phone and will check him out tonight/ in the morning. (I keep my horse as his).
So I am very sad, worried and fed up.

By the time he's better it could well be the school holidays and I struggle to juggle enough riding with looking after the kids.

where to start?
My mare was last month diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and is currently on high dose steroids which are costing about £22 a day! The odds are stacked against her but I want to give her a chance (she is insured thank god).
My little one was gelded last month and given jabs so his vets bills into the hundreds for this month.
My car was broken into last month and had the stereo nicked along with my rather nice video camera. The thugs who did it managed to break the door on my car so it is now almost impossible to close properly. My insurance excess is too high for it to be worth claiming on which is ****.
I am about £500 short this month and cant go to my parents as i already owe them about 3 grand.
And then to top it all off I have a rubbish controlling and manipulative team leader at work who is messing me around with regard to hours at work (im a support worker in a care home so not regular hours) and has cut my hours by about 21hrs a month which is significant. Plus he is not giving me consistent hrs so horses routine is being affected and with one on steroids is not making my life easy.

Going off to make myself a cuppa and watch something funny on tv now to stop myself falling apart at the seams
 
Wow some of these ARE bad:(. Makes my day seem insignificant:o! Hopefully you can all feel better by having a rant and a mothers meeting on here for 2 mins and forget about all the problems we all have:D? Iv spent the last 10 minutes reading these 3 pages:p

Asked girl on yard (she rents boxes off of YO and runs a livery service) to do my 2 Tues PM, Weds AM and Thurs AM. Get down the yard tonight to find mine out, she told me that I had categorically told her today, tomorrow and thurs which isn't the case. She then said "well one of us is wrong and it isn't me" WTF?!! I know damn well when I asked her to do them and repeated it several times, if she had admitted her mistake I would have paid her for the extra day :mad:
Long list of things that are going wrong with this yard, but can't find another yard. Start thread asking for advice only to have it pulled GAH!
 
I was climbing on Skye this weekend. We may have underestimated the difficulty of our climb, as we topped out at 3:30am, 15 hours and probably 20 some-odd pitches after starting and sat in a bothy bag on the summit until 5 or 5:30, when we could see well enough to descend. This was all fine -- merely a part of the climbing game that's bound to happen eventually and we felt reasonably in control even though we were climbing by headtorch and had our unplanned summit bivvy.

Both myself and my climbing partner have old SMC Skye guidebooks, which described this climb as one of the best of its grade on the mountain and "basic" routefinding skills required. When we eventually returned to camp (at 7:30am), we flipped through one of the new Skye guidebooks owned by our friends, which described the route as "severe for the grade" and with "difficult route finding." Thank you, SMC. If we'd had that description, we would have done a different climb!
 
I need to update my rant from yesterday to add todays in.

Let me fill you in, I'm on a work trial for a week to do admin stuff in a language college. Yesterday was hellishly pointless. Today this happened:

My 164 pages bred overnight to become 214. I had to place a plain white sticker on all of these, and match the form up with the correct students registration form.
So I got stuck in, adding the stickers as I went. My Potential Boss didn't like that method.
"No you have to put the stickers on before."
"Why?"
"That's the way I want it done."
So I stuck all the stickers together and then started to match them up. I was left with about 100 stickered forms with no student details.
"what shall I do with these?" Expecting a place to store them.
"Oh shred them all."
Wow.
So my next task was to open the mail and organise it, my office handles all the post for four different centres.

There was a Polish girl working next to me, taking payments. She had a massive stack of paperwork and seemed to be one of only two people in an office of 6 that could answer the phone.
She said to start by checking all the information was there, payment, passport photos etc.
So while I was doing that Potential Boss asked me to answer the phone if anyone was calling and the two girls were busy.
Which, you know, I don't mind, although I was a bit put out, that no one else seemed to answer the phone and that she hadn't given me any information about what to say on the phone to people.

After Lunch she asked me to make sure all these people from the mail were in the register for the right centres. So I did that, changing the paperwork from pencil to pen and adding in if I needed.

Then Polish girl had to take the banking away so Potential Boss decided to show me how to take payments. All going well. Then after she'd taken the payment, she said about recording reciepts at the end of the day. Which seemed bad to me. I'd get confused. I'd put the wrong receipt with things. So I said why can't I do it as I go? Again seemed more logical to me.
"Oh no, that's not the way we do it."

She then looked at the pile that looked like it was threatening to engulf the table. Taking one piece and holding it between her fingers.
Turns out I'd been doing it wrong, had to record what course they were doing, any medical needs and write more stuff on. Also I'd stapled them together wrong. So I had to take it all apart, rebuild her pile.
She didn't believe me when I said I hadn't been told all this, that some of the mistakes weren't mine.

Oh and because of this, the whole office left work 10 minutes late. People were angry with me. :(
 
My go! :D

Hate my job, my boss is a chauvinistic pig who believes the he is god's gift. His behaviour has made loads of people leave and it still hasn't clicked that it's because of him. I've taken countless CV's in to other places and applied to plenty of online jobs but no luck yet.

Hate school. Feel miserable every day and am really not enjoying it. Trying to stick it out as have only one more year left but am failing in one of the subjects, the teacher is rubbish in the other so none of us know what to revise for the exams. Then follows university worries: do I want to go if I feel like this about school? Will I have enough money? Will I get accepted? What subject do I want to study? What if I don't like the course etc.

Bought a new car in mid feb this year and mum paid for half as a 17th birthday present to me. It has been back to the garage 5 times now, had a brand new engine, belt, brake pads, oil leak fixed and it's still not right. My birthday was in april and I have driven this car twice since feb.

Haven't seen my "friends" since the beginning of the month, I've sent them all messages about meeting up or giving them a ring in the evening when they're home only to be met with replies such as "I'm busy revising sorry" only to find photos of them going out together on someone else's Facebook page later in the week, some friends they turned out to be..

Then to top off my cr@ppy 2012 so far had a huge argument at the yard last night with one of the very rude liveries who has bullied me throughout the last winter and who was very rude to my mum yesterday and wound myself up so much that I didn't sleep at all last night.

I know this post is all me me me but on a bit of a low and need to let of steam. Baked Alaska Ben and Jerries on offer for getting through that :) :)
 
I fell off and was trampled. Then later, at the cinema, there was a row full of elderly women behind us who talked and complained loudly the whole way through the psychological thriller we were watching. Also, I have tooth ache. Since January. And now the skin on my face is literally cracking open and bleeding. Moisturiser is not helping.

Meh...
