My point was if adults begin a PM conversation with someone and are not aware that the recipient is only 12 it could lead to all kinds of complications.

I don't think BB was suggesting anything strange was going on, OP also messaged me, and disclosed her age. BB I think was making people aware of her age to ensure that anyone answering was aware that they were talking to a child. This forum is mainly I think used by adults, and may not be the most appropriate place for a child to post.
