I have a 4 yr old tbxwb.
He loads wonderfully (I have IW 505, good condition etc) and will happily stand a eat in there.
But the minute we move off he gets very worried, shakes and sweats up big time. He spends hs time trying to look behind which suggests he is worried by traffic either behind or going past.

He is much better if he has a good travelling companion but this is not always possible.
If you have any experience and found a way to deal with this or have any ideas of what i can do to help him it would be great to know.
I have not tried a mirror yet.
O maybe its just something that will come with time?
Thanks for any replies

Would it help to get him happier in the trailer? Feed him in there & gradually increase the time he's in just like you would with a bad loader, then do lots of short journeys to get him more used to it. If traffic doesn't bother him out hacking, then I'd be more likely to believe he's looking back cos that's where his friends & the exit are.

Try shutting the door behind him, I have know horses to get worried by the vehicles following and they are much happier with the top closed.
