Needing advice - collapsed hoof.

Hello this is my first time posting on here and it is because my pony is have some problems. She has always had Ballerina Syndrome (although not picked up on vetting) Our vet has taken x-rays and said her P1 P2 and P3 have all collapsed into each other (caused by her ballerina syndrome) she said it’s not a major problem and can be fixed with specialist shoeing and a coffin joint injection. Just wondering has anyone ever come across this in their horse/pony? How has it healed and what Are they able to do now?

I’ve only heard of ballerina syndrome being detected as foals and corrective farriery utilised to lengthen tendons so sorry I’m no help with older animals having the condition altered.
