Okay, so I am at the stage now where I sooo regret giving up for a few years when I was younger, I believe I would have been at the stage I am now and doing so much more than I have the time to now! Anyway, I am now looking to enter some competitions and really start to get some showjumping underway(about time). At the minute I'm looking at buying a new horse and then work with it and begin competing. So, I would like some tips from knowledgeable people on what to start off with... without being with little ones who are most likely 10 times better than me! Thanks!

Do you have a riding club nearby that you could join? They often have different classes for different levels and are great for meeting people.

Ditto. Definately join a riding club. Don't rush into things. Give yourself a couple of months at least to get used to your horse. Riding clubs will do lessons for you to do before shows. In the meantime go and watch a few local shows and activities to give yourself an idea...

As in pony club? I do go to local shows and often help out with them and absolutely love it! I have big green eyes when I see people showjumping! Is it best to join a club first? I'm a member of a pony club centre as I'm not riding my own pony at the minute and looking to move up to horses...
