video from WHW about some horses rescued in 2011.

Their story sounds so similar to that of CD(bless him).....neglect, mares kept with stallions, inbreeding etc. Hopefully his will turn out as beautifully as these now they under the right care.

It is a very interesting video and well worth watching.

I think this week is rehoming week for WHW and some of the ones in the video are being rehomed. They do have lovely markings and look to have turned into lovely horses and ponies.

Well done RSPCA and WHW.:)

BTW OP, it was a happy ending. This case was dating back to 2011. The owner was banned for life on all animals and received a £50,000 fine, community service, tagging and two year suspended sentence and wiped off the farriery register. However, it was a VERY different situation to that of Clwyd Davies' story.

The money spent by the RSPCA in removing these animals, and getting the case to court with regard all of the animals (as mentioned other animals were involved) was vast. WHW did a fantastic job in helping the RSPCA to board the horses and rehabilitate them all to health (apart from the one stallion sadly who was pts).

This was one of the fine examples of how they both work together.

A huge well done to all involved.
