I've been putting summer fly cream on my boy and stupid me never stopped to think all the tail swishing between his legs to stop the flies would completely dye his tail yellow!
He's a palomino so his once lovely white tail is now tangled and yellow!
I washed it with a general horse shampoo and it's not budged. What do I do?! I have a competition Saturday!

Its very greasy that stuff! You'll need some fairy liquid or detergent imo... terrible stuff to use on hair but it may be the only thing to shift it.

Try head and shoulders. I don't find horse shampoo works in the slightest and it's overpriced too. My coloured has a bi coloured mane and the white bit does turn a lovely shade of yellow! You will probably need to do a few shampoos though. Or you could try a combi of fairy and head and shoulders!
