Does anyone have any experience with this? My old boy's just been diagnosed and put on steroids, and I have another chat scheduled with the vet today, but am interested in anyone elses experiences, either with neoplasia and it's effects itself, or the treatment. Thanks.

Hi, you might need to give some more details to get more answers. Neoplasia is just a medical term for cancer - any cancer at all - so it covers everything from a single sarcoid to incurable colon cancer. Similarly there are multiple different treatments, depending on what sort of neoplasia (cancer) you're talking about, the part(s) of the horse it is affecting and the severity.

Thanks - I'm at the beginning of all this. Definitely not sarcoids, only been diagnosed through a blood test at the moment but suspected to be in the gut. Initial treatment is steroids.
