nervous about blood test results

Hiya, so had bloods taken the other day as every little cut my tb has gets infected or just takes ages to heal. vet agreed could be immunity problem and best to do basic check

But i'm so nervous about the results- what if theres something up? is there anything you can do about poor immunity in horses? or what if its symptom of something more serious?

ok, feeling better for little rant. get results on tuesday so please keep fingers crossed for us

I'd try to stop worrying hun. Your horse will pick up your anxiety and that's the last thing you want. Stay strong while you wait for the results - then just in case something odd shows up you'll be mentally and physically prepared to deal with it. I'd just add that my friend has a TB and he's always hurting himself. And there's a TB that's been on my yard for months now and (honest!) I doubt if he's been injury free for more than a few days!
 
thanks, your probably right, tbs are just pretty naff at healing. hes an ex racer too so might just of been in bit too sterile an environment or something who knows.

vet said to phone tues (today) which i did, left a message but he didnt get back to me, so hopefully it'll be tomorrow
