I just wanted your advice on what the best way would be to move forward with my boy.

He is now in rehab following a kissing spine operation where they removed DSP T16. We are lunging etc and he is due to go back to the vets soon for his reassessment and all ok to get back on.

He is understandably still very wary and nervous when people are making suggesting movements near his back. eg. The physio came for a session and when she put her box next to him to stand on he moved away, now this was a common problem before he was diagnosed, obviously because of the pain it caused when being mounted.

I am bringing him back from rehab to finish him off myself and just wondered what sort of things I could do from the ground to get help make things a tad easier when I do have to get back on.

Thanks!xx

Could you imagine he has never been backed and start with just laying over and removing a saddle pad etc?

Not an expert but this will <bump> for other ideas :-)
