A robin has built a nest behind my rug rack (the rugs are now over the doors) and she was very happy when I took the curry comb to my Appy. Lots of lovely hair to line it with.

She also seems to have glitter in the nest and I have no idea where she found that - but her decor skills are better than mine

I had a robin nest in a grazing muzzle in the stable. I was privileged to see the eggs increase, the chicks hatch and then the fledglings leave

Can’t see you photos but Last year a Robin nested in a half full haynet I’d left in a stable. Unfortunately one of the fledglings drowned in the automatic waterer.

I saw the same thing yesterday! Pony was fast asleep in the field with a bird sat on her bum, plucking the hair. So cute! I alway sweep up hair after grooming and leave it in a pile on top of the muck heap for the birds to collect.

Thats so sweet! Last few years theres been a family of wrens who nest just above the stable door, and swallows in the rafters!
