That is what Horsewatch does, well in respect of stolen horses, tack, trailers etc. Have they got a group in your area? If not they would definitely appreciate you starting one.

Also really important to publicise freezemarking. Out of the horses which go missing, the freezemarked ones are the ones which are pretty much always recovered.

Are you both members of your local Horsewatch? That is a nationwide network of horse lovers committed to helping find lost/stolen horses

Debbiespirit, really sorry to hear of your loss.

Echo The watcher. Find your local group and become active within it. If there isnt one there are a number of us here who may be able to offer advice in setting one up.

The Beds Horsewatch is one of the most proactive Horsewatch Groups in the country. It's not in my area, but I know some people involved in it and they are excellent. They would really value new members too.

Thats great as there isn't one there either,
I have had so much feedback from people all over the country, it's heartwarming to know there are so many caring people out there.
Your right we have to stop them getting away with these crimes the more we can get involved the better.

Thanks for the links,
I went on one of them and found a name and phone number of my local horsewatch chairperson. I have contacted her and we are going to get together and see what we can do between us,
