Neue Schule Bit recall

Haven't been on the forum for a while, has anybody had any reply yet regarding returning CC bits for a refund. i've got three to return and have e;mailed and phoned with no reply, I'd quite like to get my money back so I can buy something else.

I rang on Friday and spoke to someone who said to return the bits to them stating when and where you bought them. Not sure if they are inspecting and if faulty offering credit, exchange or refund, think if faulty you can choose which option. Not sure if that helps you much.

my cousin had to send hers back and its been confirmed to be a faulty one. they recieved it a week ago and they were hoping for a replacement but they were out of stock at the time, shes not heard anything yet though

depends on when you bought it, my cousin went on their site, its something to do with the lozange (sorry bout spelling lol) becoming loose

They have recalled the Comfy contact in both eggbutt and baucher design. I think the ones they want back were the ones purchased between January 2004 and December 2005. the details are on their web site. If you have one of the recalled bits they are advising you stop using it immediately.

I think they will exchange if for another the same but without the fault. give them a call, I rang the main number not the mobile number on the website.

hi there,

i have sent mine back as i had the cc baucher (the same bit that nearly severed my mares tongue - but still the only one she would go in!!)

i have just got the myler hanging cheek mullen mouth and my LOVES it!
really pleased and relieved as it took 2 year to find anything she would go in (the NS)
the myler is expensive but worth it.

i think it was recalled because of problems with the barrel and i dont think my mare has been the only one to suffor tongue injury.

that said the company are really helpful and are exchanging etc - that or your retailer will exchange it.
