Anyone use Neue schule bits?

Are they any good and why?

I need a fairly thin bit for a small mouthed horse. Youngster who is green, so thinking of the NS Full cheek lozenge 14mm.

Any info appreciated.

Thanks

I have the neue scheule starter bit on my youngster who is 5.1/2 inches but 17 hand 3 yr old and she loves it. opens her mouth for it and very happy in it. The next one up for her is the one you are looking to get.

yep, very good. If your horse has a small mouth/big tongue they do a thinner mouthpiece - I think about 12mm, plus they do shaped mouthpieces to suit the mouth more.

They are a bit pricey new though - check out ebay for a 2nd hand bargain!!

Also a good bit is the myler - they have a different centre section so there is no nutcracker or joint action.

Yes, although expensive, really do the job. I tried several differnt bits for my mare, before using a N /S. They also have a very good help line, so if you call them and state your requirements, or, problem you will recieve very good professional advice.
