Neue Schule jumper-which way up?

Also in stable yard but keen to know tonight as want to use at Addington tomorrow!
I've just got a Neue Schule jumper from a bit bank and am wondering if it makes any difference which way up I use it? My NS snaffle had an arrow on one side so you know which way to hang it. There are NS markings on the edges and then half way up each arm, I'm guessing they should be higher than the bitpiece itself. Hope someone knows what I'm on about and can confirm!

I've got one looking for a new home if you get on with it? PM for details (although I'm just about to go on hols so won't be able to reply until Sunday 2nd - its a 5.5" BTW!!!!)
