Neue schule verbindend

Ive been looking at changing my mares bit. She has been ridden in a sprenger dynamic RS for a numbe rof years but is very heavy in the hand.
As I ant afford another sprenger I contacted neue schule and they came back with the verbindend 70 mm rings for a snaffle and a verbindend with 55mm ring for a bridoon along with the slimma Weymouth when we are ready.

I'm quite interested in getting this bit but I'm a little unsure of the sizes. I can't remember the size of the sprenger because it was an odd size in comparison to our previous bit. She normally measures up as a 5.5 inch in something like korsteel.

Advice on sizes and experiences of this bit are very welcome.

On the NS website they have a template that you print off and use to measure the horse's mouth for correct sizing - it's easy enough to do when your hubby is an engineer LOL

I use the Verbindend on my boy - he's rather happy in it. Had him in an ordinary loose ring before but this is just a bit better. I sometimes will switch about and use the NS beval bit now and again, but only when he's gone a little feral. Haven't used it as a bridoon yet, so I use it with the larger rings.

My horse is a 5.75 inch normally but think they recommend you go up a bit if anything,with the verbindend

Sorry! iPhone finished before I did! Hence I have a 6" verbindend,which fits perfectly.

My horse a 5.5 in most bits however in the ns verbindend he was a 5.75. Weirdly he is only a 5 in the myler bits
