Neue Schule Vs Sprenger

What are people's preferences,

They both offer similar lozenge style bits, with their own metal/aurigan

Is it worth trying both to see which horse prefers?

I have several NS bits and like the fact that they come in quarter inch sizes which helps hugely with fitting. Have always found them to be good quality but some of the ones I have seen on trade stands recently dont look to be of such good quality. The mouthpieces are a totally different, deeper goldish looking colour and the bit rings thinner.

We have several Neue Schule bits & have always been very happy with them. I couldn't justify spending the extra to have Sprenger when Neue Schule are doing the job I want.

The new Neue Shcule bits are excellent. Better finish and more prescise in the way they are made. My horse loves them and they are very helpful

Would always go for Sprenger over NS and I do own both. Would take a second hand over a new NS too. Better quality, better made and IMO the horses prefer the metal.

NS suit my mare and so many others so well. Its my first place to look for a new bit for a horse.

They have helped so many horses in my experiance. Sprenger are alot more expensive and I'm happy with Neue Schule so I'm planning on sticking with them

I prefer Sprenger. Our geegees seem to love the taste of the metal and the fit. My dad even uses them for his driving ponies.

George definately preferred the Sprenger over the NS, I didn't like the price though!
