Neue Schule?

Recently someone has suggested to me that i try a neue schule bit on my pony, looking through the loose rings (what i want to get) there seems to be so many choices and i'm not sure which one would be right? I have a 14.2 fairly stocky connie currently in a bog standard eggbutt, his bits are all 5" but have heard bigger sizes are needed for loose rings? (Am looking to borrow from a bit bank before spending all that money!) Please help! Any suggestions as to which 'design' would be much appreciated

I phoned Heather on this advice line number 01642 710627 and told her the problem I had (falling out through shoulder) and she recommended a verbindend snaffle. She is very helpful and knowledgable about the bits.

He has a tendancy to block against me and lean, so that is what we are trying to avoid
