Has anyone ever used this? My confidence can go from skyhigh to nothing very quickly and i'm thinking about trying this to counteract it??

You shouldl speak to Jo Cooper - she's fab she uses a combination of nlp and tft - tft is fab (thoughtfield therapy) it really does conquer your nerves - she consults over the telephone and has a refund policy if it doesn't work - but I don't know of anyone that it has't worked on - it's FAB! you'll never regret trying it - I never looked back!

I didn't do it specifically for riding but I have an NLP diploma and yes it can be really useful. It doesn't work for everyone, you have to want to do it but if you're open minded enough to give it a go and you want to succeed then it can be very effective.

I was made to learn it in my last job and I hated using it. We were being trained to use it to manipulate clients and I found it underhand and sneaky. I couldn't use it anyway as I am unable to adapt my "style" as I am almost off the scale on verbal.

I think i have at last conquered my fears after literally shaking near my horse before even got on - i thought i was cracking up and so upset as ive ridden for 23 years so why did i feel like this? IN the end i:
* Bought Simple Steps to Riding Success - Liz Morrison - fantastic book, uses NLP and really focuses you on hte issues and how you want to resolve them, i worked through this book and realised the gaps in my current situation

* Had Jo Cooper TFT - had sessions coming to 5 hours!!! Definitely helped me though must confess my nerves didnt totally go

* Started jumping lessons which strangely helped me to relax and go with the horse, even low fences helped my confidence!!

* Took Bach herbal remedy - ok this might be in my head but if I'm convinced I'm feeling confidence coz of this then who cares!

* Unfortuntaely i had to sell my youngster and get an older schoolmaster on loan who i could trust not to buck meoff or bolt, this has helped my confidence
* Attended NLP sessions, did some reserach on web - yes it has helped...

sorry to go on so long but from someone who lives for horses and then so nearly gave them up through sheer desperation and anxiety - if i can come through it so can you!
