Looong story short. My horse had vet last Friday for routine navicular check. Hadn't trotted him up for a while as he had to wait for last set of shoes. When we did he was very unsteady on his feet and showed definite neurological signs. Off we went to Liphook yesterday for neck x-rays to see what was going on.
No diagnosis as such but vet hopeful it's reversible damage caused by trauma. He is now on steroids as a result.
Anyone ever had anything like this with a good outcome? Thanks for reading.
