Posting a happy post for once!! Took my spooky, silly baby horse his first hack ever at the weekend! He's never ridden out until now - had to move yards to do it! Hes been known to be spooky and to bolt if he sees a monster - took him out with my mare at the weekend and he was the best boy ever!! Only spooked at a puddle and all it involved was turning into an s bend, he even took it upon himself to go in front and trotted away like hed been doing it forever! Sorry for talking rubbish but its nice to have a good post for once!!!!

Funny how a different yard can make all the difference. I had to go on a yard, once and for the 3 months I was there, my sane pony was an utter lunatic. I developed real confidence issues as a result - even bought a bit (he's ridden in a sidepull). Moved again and he was back to his lovely self (and I ditched the bit!).
