Never underestimate a Shetland pony

This little fella was pulled out of a field, stuffed in the front of a 505 and gleefully galloped 12 miles around the Lambourne fun ride on Sunday, overtaking some very surprised big old hunters along the way.

Nevermind being small or light enough (although I won't lie, that would be nice too!) I'd quite like to be fearless enough to ride one again ?

What a fantastic day - and I love the photographs!

IMHO there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a pony covered in mud after a fantastic day out. The same applies to children too!

So true. We are lucky to have a very confident little sharer for him right now, though he isn't quite the hooligan he was 15 years ago.
