Eventing New 5* Burghley replacement announced and it is.........Bicton!

I'm guessing this is why the cancelled there BE event?

Was planning on poss somerset trip that weekend so that might be more certain now.

I'm not sure that's why they cancelled though, even though the stated reason for that was a fudge. Maybe just not enough time to sort both though maybe?

I'm pretty sure they'd be full on 5* set-up from now until the event though, so the last thing you need is a gazillion grassroots riders cantering around on it, compressing the ground and getting in the way of preparation! Especially since they're doing it at record speed.

Yeah they aren’t going to want horses on any part of the track now

Could someone please give me the heads up when tickets go on sale? I’m so excited, even OH is gutted at no Burghley for our last year in the east, and it is following us west!
