Anyone ridden/ owned one of these?
http://www.equestriansuppliesshop.co...ll-Saddle.html

It is to fit a short coupled horse with a big shoulder, ridden by someone with fairly short legs!
Any thoughts, or any other recommendations?
What is the Innova like?
Horse is very big moving and I struggle to stay in my current saddle
His jumping saddle is a prestige paris k, medium fit.
Thanks

Well if it's any help I use the previous model (not new one) of Bates Isabell Werth dressage saddle & find it very comfortable & a good fit to my horse. He is short backed whose shoulder comes well back. He goes very well in it & I find it very supportive.:)

Thanks. My current saddle doesn't fit him, it is too wide for him and his shoulder shoves it back. It doesn't fit me either, too big in the seat and offers little support. Now I am beginning to get to the stage of doing lateral work and doing a lot more sitting trot I need a little more help :o however I am on a budget :(

I really didn't like the isabell werth saddle, it gave me a back ache (not prone to them). Felt a bit too trapped in the seat.
My horse also disliked it, he bolted in it. He too has big shoulders and big moving (spanish).

The Innova is totally different to the isabell though. I know lots of people have an innova for their big moving/big shoulder (spanish) horses but dont like the isabell either.

I think try it and see what you think. What works for one doesnt for another. Every person likes different saddles as well. I thought I would love deep seat, but I actually preferred open seats to my surprise. I had a vision of deep seat holding me in, therefore making me feel safer....where as actually it made my position rubbish and much prefer open/normal seat. I like knee rolls though.

Interesting spanishneddy. You can find 2nd hand isabell wintec saddle very cheap on ebay and thats probably why! I thought the 'new' one looks a lot better. I would love to try one and see.

Yes I do think the newer ones are much better to look at although I believe people prefer riding in the older ones......can not for the life of me remember why though! (no help on that one sorry!).

Try one :) you can trial saddles from saddles direct :D
