Hi guys
Just wanted to post and say yesterday I had a horse vetted and it passed so I bought it back last night. Long journey as it was up in Hull
Hopefully new beginnings and time to move on a bit.
I want to say a massive thanks to everyone on here who has been so supportive. Coedcae, Henry Horn (sorry I haven't always replied) Amymay, B'B's to name a few.
Also because I know she will read this, I know I couldn't of got through this month without Jo Cooper and TFT. I've spoken to Jo loads and would urge anyone who has any baggage they are carrying to give her a call. She's taught me it's ok to grieve and be sad, but without the raw trauma. Thanks alot Jo. My closest friend also lost her horse a week later than Charm. That hit me hard as well but we have helped each other. In fact we both have said that we haven't cried or laughed as much in the past month. We went to see a horse for sale with a rather good looking eventer. We were like a giggly pair of girlys - rather embrassing!!
Also wanted to say how good KBIS insurance were. I had the cheque 3 days later couldn't believe it.
Soooo on to pastures new. I saw two horses I liked. One a little warmblood mare, 16hh but short coupled, and 16.3hh dark bay gelding 7 yr old. In the end I went for the mare! (I wanted a gelding
) as even though Charm was 16.3 I felt it would be easier with something smaller. So last night she came back. She's 5 yrs old, not done much but def made me smile when I was riding her.
I've moved to a new yard so it's all a clean break hopefully. She travelled well and she licked the Coligone off the syringe like a dog
Anyway in time I hope to join you back on comp posts!!
Sorry for the essay. It's a bit like a Gwyneth Pat speech
