New BHS Chairman?

I have just received an email from Monty Roberts informing that Patrick Print is new BHS Chairman.

Let us hope that those of us who have written to previous Chairmen , yes more than one - without the courtesy of a reply - will be treated with a little more respect. Most unsatisfacotry for those of us who worked in an unpaid capacity for the society or gave hours of our time to raise funds.

Patrick print is a very good man. I raised an issue with the BHS two tears ago he couldnt have acted more quickly to answer my letter and get the ball rolling for action to be taken

I am delighted to hear it. A friend and I have written four times on an issue of great importance and not has so much as an acknowledgement.

When I asked a previous chairman the data source of a statement which was quite insulting to people who were NOT members of BHS - although i was. I was told they were far too busy to answer my request. I did not renew my membership.

Poor old Monty is a mile behind the times!

Patric Print has been BHS chairman for more than 4 years!!

BHS Chairmen don't get elected - they get 'picked' by the Trustees and stay until they get bored or the trustees who don't like them work out a way to ditch them!

MC outstayed his welcome for a couple of years, his successor only stayed a couple of years before she came to her senses - then it was Patrick and he seems to be doing a pretty good job as far as I can tell from a distance.

That explains why the person who I emailed who was not of this name passed my email to someone else.
