Previously rode my horse in a myler combination bit for a good 2 years, the best he has ever gone, he seemed relaxed yet confident. schooled nice and long and low on a lovely light rein but able to hold himn back that big extra that i cant in a snaffle when jumping. When i moved yard i had to restock everything ie saddle bridle etc
After 7months, my new myler combi has just arrived and i cant wiat to use it
I have heard mixed reviews on them and worry that people at new yard will think that i am using too strong a bit for my horse but i know he goes well in it, he hates the nutcracker action of a snaffle and other snaffles just arnt quite strong enough as he is a cob type is can be pretty stong nothing nasty though
What are you thoughts on the bit? and how i should go about responding if anyone does say anything to me?
