New blue tongue cases

According to the BBC two new cases of blue tongue have been identified in the UK One in Lewes and the other right on my doorstep in Herts.

What I want to know is if they can trace where these rams came from why couldn't they stop them leaving the blue tongue controlled area in France?

Typical " FWENCH " they always get around to what needs done after the fact......Shows why every so many years the Germans invade and slap them around .I think they are overdue

It has only just made it back into the press but as of 10am todays date there is still 141 locations under restrictions and one in Tiverton, Devon today!

Hi all,

While recognising that Blue Tongue is a serious threat to our UK farmers, i'm personally very unhappy with blaming French folk, which is simply aggressive and racist, and achieves nothing.

I would, however, ask forum friends to question the EEC, and our own government's approach, not only to Blue Tongue, but to their handling of foot and mouth not that long ago. Rather than attack French farmers on this forum, maybe we should put our energies into attacking the handling of agricultural affairs by the EEC. Our own government appears to be hell-bent on promoting the demise of agriculture in the UK, supported by the EEC.
