Recommendation if I may please.

Long boots suitable for riding and yard work that will last more than a couple of months. Very slim calf and long in the leg. Need to be warm and comfy to wear all day. Thank you.

I suppose it depends what you like riding in, I’m not sure there are many refined enough for riding that are also tough enough for yard work. I’d say Ariat Bromonts, but with the best will in the world they won’t last that long as yard boots too.
Muck boots used to make a long riding boot that might be more robust, if ugly.

Thanks, they are not for me, slim calves are nothing but a dream ! they are for a friend who helps me and her mum wants to surprise her with some nice boots. Her current Dublin boots have given up.

Can you get something from the Ariat Country range? Several of them are stirrup friendly, and seem harder-wearing than riding boots. I just got a pair from their country range, spent all day at the yard and rode in them as well, and they were warm and super comfortable to boot (lol...). I got the 'full calf' version as I have, well, full calves, but if you got a regular calf width on a boot with some adjustment features like laces or buckles, you might be able to bring them in to fit very slim?
