OH's new boy arrived tonight. Unfortunately he had been shod this morning after a while with no shoes, and the farrier nicked him with a nail so he has no shoe on his right rear and is limping a bit
Guy was desparately apologetic so we have agreed a three week trial period to allow foot to heal and for OH to get used to him. different farrier is coming out on Monday to check him over. He is at our friends farm - which doesn't have a level square metre on it, so poor boy is living on a slope again at the moment - hence the rather dodgy perspective in the photos.

Standing down hill on a dicky foot - not the best pose. I think he has a weedy neck and no topline at the moment, so better diet and more exercise for him - good, he can give FB a run for his money!
