I've been looking for a new bridle to buy online for my 13.2hh cob. It's just for everyday use/hacking etc as I don't show.
I really fancy a pink equine one to brighten things up a bit, and from what I've read elsewhere they are made from really nice leather too. Any opinions?
However, I wouldn't mind having a comfort headpiece. Also, I would probably have to but a cob size bridle but pony cheeks. So, I was thinking of buying a Heritage comfort bridle headpiece (cob) and then having Pink Equine nose and brow (cob) & getting some pony sized cheek pieces. I don't like the heritage comfort bridle cheek pieces as the billets show on the outside (for comfort purposes!).
So I was wondering does anyone with a pink equine bridle know how wide the cheek pieces and the bit of the noseband which goes over the head are -- ie. could I fit them to a heritage comfort headpiece?! I think the heritage cheek pieces are 5/8".
Or does anyone have any better bridle recs, not a really expensive one. Was thinking of Sabre but the comfort one is too expensive.
Oh, and its a black leather CAVESSON noseband I'm needing.
