I'd like to introduce you all to Elmo, my newest addition here :D

He's not a young pup, he's about 6 months old i think (he's by Logan) and we hung onto him as he looked very nice for the show ring but unfortunately he just stopped growing at 1.5lbs  Obviously, far too tiny to show (they have to be 4-6lbs) and when we offered him for sale we had the most ridiculous enquiries - people wanting him to breed from (why???? he is not to standard!!) and so many people wanting pics of him next to TV remotes or in a cup to see if he is a "teacup" - I HATE that term!! You just know they either want the dog to breed or as a fashion accessory. One person wanted him as a present for their 5 year old - very, very breakable dog is NOT a good childs pet  so yeah, decided it was best to keep him than risk letting him go to one of the few sane people who contacted us, never know where he could end up...

Anyway, you all remember Evie?? Well, i thought, little Elmo would make a wonderful companion for her. He is small enough that he cant hurt her, she's bigger than him at 3lbs but very fine boned and fragile, and fiesty enough to put up with her grumpiness - he's lived with his crazy sister Birdie since a tiny baby!! :D He came home last weekend and he and Evie got on right away!! Dont tell her i told you this, but every morning i find them snuggled up together in their bed... awwww! :D it seems to have worked out well!! He's pretty much fully grown now, he certainly wont make much over 2lbs so i dont think i ever have to worry about him hurting her :)

Anyway, here's the little man!! How cute???

Oh how gorgeous!

My bosses chi x jack was twinned and a runt, she weighs 2.5kg ... but still spends the day on the yard, bosses the horses around, instructs in the arena and walks a full cross country course! Such fantastic characters.

My boss got her to make sure no idiots got hold of her, or tried to breed from her etc. There are plenty of them out there! Glad both Elmo and Evie are in safe hands, they're both gorgeous!

So sweet! I love Chi's, have always wanted one but OH says he refuses to walk one :o
Elmo is beautiful, very jealous!

He is lovely.
We got Jody, or much missed LC chi at eight months old from the friend who bred her as she was too small to show. She eventually made a tad over 3lbs and lived to 17.

Oh he's so sweet! I'm not a huge fan of the short haireds normally but both of yours are very cute :)

I'm also wondering if a long haired is a bad idea as I'm forever having to cut clumps of disgustingness out of my boy's tail and ears (OH spilled KETCHUP on him but led tit in hope the greedy sausage dog would lick him clean...sadly he was wrong...and I now do not leave him to looks after my dog without strict instructions lol!)
