Yesterday I went cross country schooling at a new venue near Herstmonceux. It is called Comphurst XC and was a really lovely venue.
The jumps are well made with plenty of interesting things for the horses to look at, good water, steps, training ditches of various depths/widths.
We were jumping mainly 80 cm but there is some small stuff for youngsters and bigger, 1 m to Novice I would guess. It isn't as big as Coombelands but an excellent venue for schooling.
We will be going back with Izzy, who I took yesterday, and Floyd, my youngster. Plenty to make the horse and rider work and think.
Fab to have another xc schooling venue in our area and the lady who runs it is very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.
