Looks interesting. I feed my pony Happy Hoof as she's fussy and won't eat Hi-Fi with her supplements. I'll have to see how much they sell it for as Happy Hoof is quite expensive.

I have been looking at this and think it compares quite well to happy hoof, no where has got in in near me yet, but would be interested to know how much it was, just bought a bag of happy hoof tonight and it was £9.00 seems to keep creeping up. Anybody know the price?

Going slightly off topic, it always suprises me how much of this stuff they advise you to feed.
Personally, I wouldnt feed it, but then I'm tight and IMO everything is done with a bit of Hi Fi and multi vitamin

i went to a feed shop at the weekend and was asking a lady for some advice on feed as my pony is a very fussy eater and she gave me a bucket of the healthy hoof for him to try, he semed to like it a lot and we are going to get him a bag of it at the weekend not to sure how much it is !

it's been brought in to compete against happy hoof, it will actually have a lower feeding rate than HH so should work out cheaper, although the bag will be more expensive, if that make sense!!

Saw it at the feed merchants last week. Think it was about £8.70, was thinking about trying some once my Hi Fi Lite is finished.

I feed happy hoof to my 16.2hh and this product looks virtually identical bar the added biotin. However if you read the marketing garble then you need to be feeding 15g of biotin a day to your horse to make any noticable difference, this equates to 5-6 scoops of the healthy hoof a day !!!! Seeing as my chap gets all of 1 scoop of happy hoof a day I reckon you would be much better off feeding whatever chaff you fancy and adding separate biotin to it if that is what is important to you!

I've just been speaking to a Dengie person today as it happens, and I agree with what has been said that it is being brought in to compete against Happy Hoof as it does seem pretty similar, though as someone has previously said it is designed to be fed at a lower rate than happy Hoof. Dengie lady said RRP is between I think £9.40 and £9.90. You are ment to feed 1 large round scoop for each 100kg bodyweight to acheive reccomended dose rates. I beleive that Happy Hoof reccomended rates are higher than this though could be wrong.

My friend usually buys happy hoof but the feed merchant gave her the dengie one and said it is basically the same thing

think he charged the same price(£8,50)

i hate the smell of it though! smells much stronger than happy hoof
