Bought a filly at the weekend (well my mum did) and we wormed her on Saturday with equimax, looked a bit pot-bellied, but shiny coat, no diaoreaha (SP) filly is 18 months old. Well well well poo-picking for the last few days has been interesting
we found what looked like roundworm (dead) in the muck and also what looked like small thread-worms thin as cotton we think these maybe small redworm. Spoke to the prevouis owner who said the filly was last wormed in April.
There wasnt a worm in every pooh but i would say about 1 to 2 worms every 3rd pooh.
The dead worms are still coming out - she did one today with a dead roundworm in it, but most of the poohs are now coming out clear.
Would it be wise to worm her again??
Also will she be okay??
Any advice much appretaited thank you.
