Putting feelers out for a quiet yard with minimum facilities apart from direct access onto the forest. Low quality grazing and decent sized stables are a must and storage, but other than that, really not fussed. I can school out on hacks. I've had a look on facebook, but everywhere seems very posh and expensive.

I don't mind really. I'll be in Lymington, but don't mind travelling for the right yard. I've had a look on NFED thanks, a couple of places that I've enquired about, but I wondered if anyone had recommendations or knew of anywhere that's definitely ok.

Ah, I'm in the north so not much use I'm afraid. Anything south of Lyndhurst is different country! ? I'll keep my ears open though and ask my friend who is in Sway if she knows anywhere.

Thank you very much. I've emailed and messaged a couple more places I found on NFED directory. One sounds really lovely even tho it's a fair step from me in Fordingbridge.

There are people who don't advertise livery but who will respond to a wanted ad. Like my friend who owns a yard and who will respond to cards in local shops, someone calling in on the off chance, word of mouth etc
