Do they grow feathers?

I bought Molly with no history(or name) and have a strong suspicion she is a Newfie, however she has never really grown feathers. She was fully clipped, with a pulled mane and tail when I got her 4 years ago, her mane and tail have grown, although not a massive amount but her feathers don't seem to be very long....what do you think?

Yes, they have little ones, like other natives.

I would think only relatively minimal feathers, enough for water to drain off them when in the 'wild'.

Foresters have feathers, some more than others.

yep, thats the right amount of feather thhey should have, they should have none around the front of the hoof and just a tiny bit at the back! looks like a forester. Mine is a forester (in my sig)

My yearling forester has feathers so yes they do. Rachel your pony is gorgeous by the way!

yes they do have feathers. mine has them and he is an appolooasa x new forest!
