Hi all
Really sorry to jump straight in with a favour request but hope that you are a hospitable bunch you may be able to help
Do any of you guys know of a someone who would be willing to let us have use of their paddock or enclosed field on a monthly/quarterly basis for a couple of hours to hold a greyhound playgroup in Oxfordshire??
I know this sounds daft but enclosed, safe spaces are hard to find and all the dogs like a run from time-to-time. The rules of a playgroup mean that only up to 5 dogs would be allowed to run at a time, and always be muzzled.
Other dogs waiting their turn would be on leads, so no scaring the locals in their stables (!) and sighthounds do not bark much either.
We are non-commercial; just a bunch of mates with our retired pets who meet for walks etc locally, who would like to be able to do something like this a few times a year. (We'd be able to make a small donation to the kitty, and we'd clear up all the poop!)
Many thanks, and apologies again for jumping straight in!
