Just a little update from our happy little farm. Earlier this year we decided to lay some new grass to hopefully expand the DIY livery on the farm. So we now have 15 more acres of lovely grass. So obviously having lots of lovely new grass, we needed something to keep it maintained. So we are now the proud owners of 46 sheep which we collected last week. The horses seem quite impressed with their new neighbours, we expected more excitement if anything! They’re a bit camera shy and elusive at the moment spending most of their time over the far side but here is some of the bunch.. makes it worth putting up the fence all day on my day off in the pouring rain!!
And a quick Arlo update for anyone interested, he’s doing really well, managing to get him out for a few decent in hand walks a week. He seems very content and fluffy and loves his new treat ball, he only gets a handful of nuts and a couple of carrots in it but he seems to be able to make it last hours, either that or he just enjoys kicking it around! We’ve had no more issues with catching, he stood like a rock for his vaccination on Monday and he’s just generally being a joy! Hope everyone else and their horses are well 😊
