New hair do - what do you think?

Lammy's new hair do!
Just starting to get the hang of a running plait - this is the first one that I've managed to finish off with a band.
Though it dropped out in the middle when he started turning his head and having a scratch!
Any ideas as to get it to stay in - hope to hack to next dressage on Sunday - over an hour hack so need some tips please!

Will check out what Tesco can offer in hair products!

I start with normal plait on the top section (just plait one turn) keep grabbing a hunk of mane and pulling it in to the thinest bit which magically ends up on the left. Bit complicated to explain but there are some clips on youtube

I got his head collar at the Friesian inspections - they're the frisian flag colours!
