New hat? Ideas please!

So about a year and a half ago i bought a Gatehouse HS1 as this is meant to be a highly rated hat. The first problem i had with it was that the strap was always loosening and obviously that is a slight problem! Took it to see numerous shops that stocked it and everyone said it was fine. I now have problems with the strap not staying done up! I like to refer to the clip as my seat belt but the seat belt is now failing! I have looked after this hat and have no idea why this has happened but anyway i need a new hat and need recomendations? I like the champion hats and have heard good things - ideas on these?

Love my champion hats, they are super.

Have heard of several problems having the same problem with your HS1 as others. Have you contacted gatehouse direct if yours is faulty?

are you looking for another skull or any hat?

anyway I have a Champion Evolution Hat which is super lightweight and very comfy, with brill ventilation, and for a skull I have Charles Owen J3 which is about 7 years old and could do with replacing although I never wear it, as I do showjumping,

the champion ventair skull looks nice too or the Charles Owen Pro 2

there is a fab and fairly cheap Just Togs riding hat on ebay 320636293184.
i use one and its been great - handy 2nd hat or for showing etc.

I have a champion ventair and I love it! So comfortable and your head doesn't get to hot with it on either

Ive hat my Charles Owen J3 for about 5 years, really comfy, thought id best replace it so just bought the Ayr8, highly recommend it, very comfy and looks great
