New hat

Hi,
Have decided it's time to replace my everyday riding hat. Have tried a couple on in the shops but not been too excited about them. Wnhich hats do you all use for hacking out?

Its comfy and light and easily adjusted but I find it looks really big on my head. Fab for comfort but maybe not looks! A good value one though. I also have a traditional velvet one which is really comfy. It was only a cheapy too

I will check them out...wouldn't it be nice to find a shop which stocked every hat available so we could try them all on,because what suits some may not suit others - head shapes etc.

OOh yes, this would be amazing! I've currently got a professional fitted hat that gives me toothache and another that gives me a headache I seem to have an unusually square head and am on the search for something that doesn't squish me in funny places so yes, a shop full of all the hats on the market would be amazing!

Considered a hand-made one - the website of the shop in London I found did say that if I called ahead I could land my helicopter there....

me too!! I am on my 2nd one after the last one got banged up. IT all depends on your head shape, Different makes are different shapes so try lots on. However I know what you mean about lack of excitement, they are all so similar and there haven't been any nice, affordable new styles in a while

I love champion hats... the only other makes that I have found to be comfy on are the PROtector hats, as they pad them to fit, and the KEP hat, which has a removable lining which moulds to your head.
