hi i am new here (so everyone please be nice) i havnt got a horse yet but i have got my fingers crossed i will get one for my 14th, which wont be long. i have been riding for almost 3 years and have learnt things very quickly. I often get wierd looks when i ride as i am one of the few boys that still do this wonderful sport. sorry to ramble on.

why is there so few lads who want to ride? We used to have a couple of under 10's, but soon as they reach 10/11 /12 they don't want to! Occasionally we get fellas in to ride but mostly just girls/women.

Hello and welcome. My sharer's son rides sometimes. Young lads riding do seem to be quite rare these days though which is quite sad.

i am i am also interested in the caring of the horse as well, although i would not turn down a ride from any one lol

Same as me then. As long as I'm around horses I'm fine. (I often get really nervous whilst riding so helping with them build my confidence)

yer i guess. i kinda feel as though i have progressed as much as i can on riding school horses and am trying to look for a share horse but it is almost impossible to find one around where i live
