New horse - ex racer?

Tentatively looking about for a new horse to add to my collection ...

I've googled all the main charities and rehoming places but there doesn't seem to be many about at the moment, maybe its the time of year?

Any ideas on better places to look?

Videos I've had so far indicate a lot of lame horses currently for sale *facepalm*

I don’t know your location, but Cheveral house always have ex racers in. Similarly Derek Shaw have a couple advertised recently- both in the Midlands.

Solway Exracers have always got a stream of them going through. They are in the Scottish borders but are good at doing vids etc

Debbie Edmundson in Suffolk usually has some. They retrain them. She had a nice bay gelding a while ago.
