Yes....I`d agree with that. He does need a little condition on, and he`s a bit flat bottomed. He`s not carrying any extra weight, which i would prefer going into winter.

He's just out to grass for a few weeks until the weather turns bad then were going to bring him in and showjump over winter. Maybe some cross country schooling and then a few intro events early next season. Then, who knows. Sell or keep. He`s got some SJ points, but he`s only been upto 90cms. He`s won about 15 times, so not a bad start.

The best part is, he`s just a real pet! follows you round like a dog. He`s desperate to be with you. Whenever i`m in the field, he`s straight over for a cuddle.

He came in on Monday. It was all a bit frantic really. I got a phone call at 9pm on sunday from the transporter to say he was on the ferry, and would be first off. So drop off was 3am in the morning! The wagon was too big for the lane, so we had a half mile walk down a dark track.

Looks like a full TB.

He is a lovely looking boy. He looks like he needs to build up his topline. He is also slightly over the knee which wouldn't concern me too much.

He looks lovely ... I agree the picture makes him look a little over at the knee, but so is my boy and it's never caused him any problems. He's in great condition though, love his coat!

feet and the way he is stood on the backend! feet look to big for pasterns and the backend looks like he has no strength there.

And why would that make you assume he came from here?? more silly generalisations!

OP he is a lovely type and when he builds up more he will be gorgeous!

Hello there

Your horse looks lovely and good luck with him.

I wanted to ask about the comments that have been made about him - it is just that my daughters horse is of a very similar conformation (going to take s
ome pics for here) but with the comments are there any of concern and suggestions of how to deal with

---the picture makes him look a little over at the knee --is this a problem for jumping, is there anything to help support/strengthen the knee?

--- needs HQ building up a wee bit -- will this improve with work or will extra feed be needed and if so any suggestions ??

Many thanks x x

it wasnt an assumption i asked a question to which i was right so not a silly generalisation was it?

the reason i siad it is ive seen a few horses come from ireland that on first sight seem to have feet to big and have the back legs underthem sort of stance..
