New horse has hair loss near eye.

The vet is coming to the yard next week so will get my new gelding checked over anyways but was wondering what you all thought. I have noticed on his right eye, below and a above that some hair is missing, maybe it's from an old injury? I tried to get a picture. What do you all think it could be? He is a five yr old welsh d cob.

Difficult to tell from the pic, but looks like a fairly recent superficial injury.

I agree with the above it looks recent and as if it will grow back .
