My new horse has something odd with her ears(I wasn't present at vetting and he didn't mention it in vet cert so prob not major!)
But basically it is white lumps in her ear-almost like dry skin! Very slightly raised and doesn't seem to bother her.
Only reason I'm enquiring about it is because one person told me I mustn't pick it off as that makes it grow back twice as bad, and another told me that I should soften it with Vaseline or similar and pick off.
Anyone experienced anything similar?
PS If I thought it was major, ie she was in pain or it was annoying her I would call vet but just had to pay him a large fee for last horse so trying to avoid calling him for a while!
