So a couple of months ago I made the decision to put my lovely girl up for sale. TBH she was too polite and sensible for me, but this didn't seem a fair reason to sell her. After a lot of toing and froing one of my liveries asked if she could buy her. So H got a wonderful home and even better I can still ride her and obviously don't have to worry about her.

So new horse shopping commenced, with me slightly terrified as instructor had told me I had to spend proper money this time. I saw a number, but couldn't even put my finger on why I didn't want them. Then I saw an advert for a lovely little mare. Convinced my long suffering OH to join me on a 450 mile round trip ;) to see her. Took all of 15 mins and the deal was done. She arrived yesterday and is just gorgeous (even if she did jump out of the field today!) So hopefully she will be my next SJ superstar.

So enough waffle Here she is:

She wasn't sure about the cat though

So her registered name is Goloma, but she has no stable name so ideas please.

3yo 16hh KWPN mare. Breeding is Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Loloma if that provides any inspiration

Currently have thought of Dora (from Eldorado) or Muesli (Goloma sounds like Granola), but everyone hates them. HELP

Can't offer much as will be living off 2 minute noodles for the near future as she is super short and none of my rugs fit. Hopefully will be able to bore you with many future reports from backing to competing

What a pretty mare! Got some growing and maturing to do too!

I like Dora too... or Dolly, as she is so pretty... or Golly (as in 'gosh isn't she pretty' or 'she's frickin' jumped out of the field again!') or 'Ellie' (from Eldorado) or 'Gloria' / 'Glori' from Goloma or 'GeeGee'

BTW she's YOUR horse, not everyone else's so name her what you like :)

She has a beautiful star so what about Star, or Stella, or the name my daughter likes which is Estrella, pronounced Estraya, Spanish for star.

Good luck with her, how exciting! :)

I see her as Tilly, Milly, Lola and Callie. Or Sonia, Luna, Honey or Sunny (my mare's called Sunny, she's on my avatar). She needs a delicate name, she looks very dainty. Good luck with her, she's very pretty!

Thanks for the suggestions.

I did feel like Dora the Explorer when leading her home along the road from next door passed the scaffolding truck Brave Girl. She could have at least jumped one of the other 3 fences and stayed on our land!

I Think she's lovely! Like the above name of waffle, Goloma is a species of moth ( I love google) so Flutter? I also like Glory and Grace. Hope you have many wonderful fun filled years together.

Dora would be lovely and I forgot to say earlier, but I like Muesli as a name as well xx

I like Dora the explora!!! I considered Dora for my new horses as she has been bought with inheritance from my grandmother who was Doreen.

Her mane us Menlo Star. She doesn't have a star any more (greyed out I think) do I took the lo bit and extended it to Lottie.

Turns out my pregnant friend was going to call her unborn daughter Lottie. I've just ruined that then!!!
